This dual-power capability, provided by Shaanxi Kaishan, significantly reduces operational costs and noise levels while providing a reliable backup during long-term projects.

This rig is built on a heavy-duty chassis featuring a folding frame track and a plunger walking motor, providing a solid foundation for high-torque drilling. The 4-wheel drive system and 30-degree climbing ability ensure it can reach the most difficult bench positions. To handle the massive 5000N·m of torque, the rig is equipped with a double rotation motor system, making it capable of drilling holes up to 152mm in diameter through hard rock (f=6-20).

The drilling mechanics of the KG420S are engineered for productivity. It features a massive 40KN lifting force and an oil cylinder plus roller chain feed system, designed to handle 4″ DTH hammers and large-diameter drill rods. The expanded pitch and lifting-arm cylinders allow for precise boom positioning, while the 970mm compensation ensures the guide rail remains stable throughout the drilling process.

Durability is evident in every aspect of the KG420S. From the thickened housing to the reinforced lifting cylinder and chain, this machine is built to survive the harshest quarrying environments. Its ability to drill horizontal holes up to 2850mm and vertical holes to depths of 25 meters makes it highly adaptable for varied project requirements, from open-pit mining to large-scale foundation work.

For maximum output, the KG420S should be paired with Kaishan high-pressure screw compressors such as the KSCY570/12-550/15, LGCY17/18-18/15T, or the KSCY650/20-700/17T.
