Principle of screw air compressor

With its high performance, high efficiency, maintenance-free, high reliability and other advantages, the screw air compressor provides high-quality compressed air for all walks of life.
(1) Inhalation process: The motor drives the rotor. When the cogging space of the main and slave rotors is transferred to the opening of the intake end wall, the space is large and filled with outside air. When the end face of the intake side of the rotor is away from the air intake of the housing, the air between the tooth slots is sealed between the main and slave rotors and the chassis, completing the suction process.

(2) Compression process: At the end of the suction period, the closed volume formed by the tooth peaks of the main and slave rotors and the casing decreases with the change of the rotor angle, and performs a spiral movement. This is the “compression process”.

(3) Compressed gas and oil injection process: During the transportation process, the volume is continuously reduced, the gas is continuously compressed, the pressure rises, and the temperature rises. At the same time, due to the air pressure difference, the lubricant that has become mist is sprayed into the compression chamber, so as to achieve the functions of compression, cooling, sealing and lubrication.

(4) Exhaust process: When the closed tooth peaks of the rotor rotate and meet the exhaust port of the chassis, the compressed air starts to be discharged until the matching surface of the tooth peaks and the tooth grooves moves to the end surface of the casing. exhaust. At this time, the cogging distance is zero, that is, the exhaust process is completed. At the same time, the other pair of cogs of the main and slave rotors has rotated to the intake end, forming the largest space, and the suction process begins, thus starting a new compression cycle.
