With the surge in large-scale projects, various drilling rigs are being used frequently. Water well drilling rigs primarily operate wells, performing tasks such as drilling wells, lowering pipes, and flushing wells. While operation is quite simple, for safer operation, the following precautions are provided:
1. Drillers must be specially trained and have a certain level of work experience before taking up this position.
2. Drillers must master the essentials of drilling rig operation and comprehensive maintenance knowledge, and possess considerable experience in troubleshooting.
3. Before loading the drilling rig, a complete inspection must be conducted to ensure all components are present, cables are free of electrical leakage, and drill pipes and drilling tools are free of damage.
4. The drilling rig must be securely loaded onto the vehicle. When turning or driving on an inclined path, drive slowly and secure it with steel wire anchors.
5. When entering the construction site, the drilling tower must be securely fixed. The drilling area must be larger than the drilling base, and there must be sufficient safe clearance around the drilling rig.
6. When drilling, strictly adhere to the hole location and orientation. The drill operator is not allowed to make unauthorized changes to the angle, hole depth, and other construction parameters.
7. When installing drill rods, inspect the drill rig to ensure that the drill rods are not blocked, bent, or worn. Unqualified drill rods must not be used.
8. When installing and removing drill bits, be careful not to damage the carbide inserts with pipe clamps or flatten the drill bit or core tube.
9. When installing drill rods, install the second rod only after the first one has been installed.
10. When using clean water drilling, do not supply water before drilling begins. After the water returns, Only when pressure is applied can drilling proceed, ensuring sufficient flow rate and preventing dry holes. If there is a lot of rock dust in the hole, increase the water flow and extend the pump operation time. Drilling should not be stopped until the hole is thoroughly flushed.
11. Accurately measure the distance during drilling. Generally, the drill rod should be measured every 10 meters or when changing drilling tools to verify the hole depth.
12. Check the gearbox, bushings, horizontal and vertical shaft gears for overheating and any abnormal noises. If any problems are found, stop the machine immediately, identify the cause, and address them promptly.
